Sandra Altwerger is a Canadian artist living and working in Toronto. Her work is focused on large acrylic paintings that use abstraction to form a language of their own. Her art is based on a deeply felt response to light and form expressed in washes and solid colours to make the imagination concrete and play with the sensuality of paint.
